Jewelry Store Robbed in Plains Township

Plains Township, Luzerne County- Police are investigating an armed robbery in Plains Township.
It happened last night around 9 at a-1 Diamonds and Gold along Route 315.
Police say the owner was leaving the store when the robber came up behind him and pointed a gun in his face.
The robber swiped a bag filled with cash and jewelry.
The owner wasn't hurt.
The robber sped off in an older model gray ford mustang.
Anyone with information should call police.
