     WBRE TV NEWSMAKERS TO AIR SUNDAY MAY 11TH

           PROGRAM AIRS 5:30 A.M. AND 11 A.M.


   HUNGER AND MEETING THE BASIC NEEDS OF FAMILIES IN OUR AREA IS THE MISSION OF THE COMMISSION ON ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY    

    This Sunday, May 11th, The Commission on Economic Opportunity CEO will be the topic of WBRE-TV Newsmakers. 

     Senior Producer Jayne Ann Bugda and Anchorman Andy Mehalshick host Newsmakers.  They will have as their guests Gene Brady, Executive Director of CEO and Gretchen Hunt, Nutrition Program Manger for the CEO.

     Brady and Hunt will discuss the many programs offered by the CEO to area families and individuals.  They will discuss the Summer Meals program offered to children by the CEO to make sure they receive nutritious meals during summer vacation.  The panel will also discuss the Weinberg Regional Food Bank operated by CEO and the need for donations and volunteers.   

     WBRE-TV Newsmaker airs Sunday, May 11th at 5:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. the show will be repeated May 18th at 5:30 a.m.
