Last season, Nanticoke Area went 20-1 but did not make the state playoffs.  They got upset in the District playoffs but the Trojanettes return all of their starters and remain the team to beat this season.  Even though their top pitcher graduated, the pitching staff will be one of the strengths for this team again and of course their offensive power threat in First Team All-State Short Stop Sammy Gow.  Nanticoke Area hopes to compete for a State Championship this season.
