Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County- A jury rendered a verdict of guilty of murder in the first degree for Arthur Stoss. Prosecutors said Stoss brutally beat Lillian Calabro last March, and then dumped her body in the Susquehanna River in Pittston.

Calabro's remains were found 10 days later in park near Wilkes-Barre.

Calabro's mother and daughter said Lillian would be dancing about to hear the outcome of the case.

Stoss receives an automatic prison term of life behind bars.
