Foster Township, Luzerne County -- Foster Township Zoning and Code Officer Jim Weber filed citations against a White Haven area couple accusing them of illegal dumping.

The I-Team first showed you the dump site on Pond Creek Road in Foster Township last month. Weber says he tracked the trash to the home of Jennifer Morales and Randi Feliciano of 65 Lakeside Road in Foster Township.

Weber said," We have more than enough evidence to prove without a doubt that the couple dumped their trash in February. We want to send a message this kind of crime will not be tolerated. It is nearly impossible to catch the dumper red handed but we can prove it with physical and circumstantial evidence."

I-Team Lead reporter Andy Mehalshick went to the home trying to talk with Morales or Feliciano, A woman, identified by Weber as Morales, insisted Mehalshick leave the property who she would call the police.

A young man in the home shouted that he did not dump anything illegally. A hearing is set for May 3 at District Judge Gerald Feussner. The couple faces fines each of more than $1,000. Morales has already told court officers she will plead not guilty.

Thanks Andy,Illegal dumping is indeed a way of life for some in this area. Being an avid ATV operator in this area I have encountered quite a few of them. I'm glad to see someone confront them. Maybe if we allowed recreational ATV use in our fringe wooded area's the dumpers would have no where to go, Thanks again
