9 Year-Old Gets Disney Surprise

Ashley, Luzerne County - A 9 year-old Luzerne County boy battling a debilitating disease got the trip of a lifetime! Tuesday, the Sunshine Foundation surprised Anthony Mercadante with a trip to Disney World.
Anthony has cerebral palsy, cortical blindness and a seizure disorder. His mom says it's a trip her son deserves and it's planned for next month.
"I can't even explain it, it's just so exciting, I know he'll love it, he doesn't really understand it, but he'll love it," said Kelly Mercadante
The Sunshine Foundation is based in Feasterville, Pennsylvania. Their mission is to answer the dreams of chronically ill children. For more information click HERE.
