Schremp Called Up To Edmonton

The Edmonton Oilers have recalled centre Rob Schremp from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League.

 

The 5’11”, 200-pound native of Syracuse, New York will join the Oilers in Minneapolis/St. Paul for their game against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday, April 5.

 

The Oilers second choice in the first round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, Schremp has recorded 16+34=50 with 36 penalty minutes in 67 games. He is plus-2 and has netted eight power-play goals.

 

Schremp ranks fourth on the Penguins scoring list in points (50), second in assists (34), third in power-play goals (8) and fourth in goals (16).
