BARONS DROP SECOND STRAIGHT TO INDIANAPOLIS

A NINE RUN SECOND INNING PROPELLED THE INDIANAPOLIS INDIANS TO THEIR SECOND VICTORY IN AS MANY NIGHTS OVER THE SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE RED BARONS ON THURSDAY, 12-5. EVERY STARTER HAD AT LEAST ONE HIT FOR THE INDIANS, LED BY CESAR CRESPO, WHO HAD FOUR HITS AND TWO RBI. GRAHAM KOONCE AND TY WIGGINTON BOTH HOMERED FOR INDIANAPOLIS. STARTER PEDRO LIRIANO LASTED JUST ONE AND TWO THIRDS INNINGS, GIVING UP EIGHT EARNED RUNS ON SIX HITS TO FALL TO 1-6 ON THE SEASON. THE TEAMS WRAP UP THE SERIES FRIDAY NIGHT AT 7:05 AT LACKAWANNA COUNTY STADIUM. THE BARONS THEN EMBARK ON AN EIGHT GAME ROAD TRIP TO DURHAM AND NORFOLK.
