THE SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE RED BARONS COMPLETED A FOUR GAME SWEEP OF THE SYRACUSE SKY CHIEFS MONDAY NIGHT, 4-1. PITCHER MIKE BACSIK GOT HIS FIRST VICTORY OF THE SEASON, THROWING EIGHT INNINGS, GIVING UP JUST ONE RUN ON FOUR HITS WHILE STRIKING OUT SIX. JOHN CASTELLANO HIT HIS THIRD HOMER OF THE SEASON FOR THE BARONS, WHO NOW LEAD THE INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE NORTH BY A GAME AND A HALF OVER BUFFALO AND OTTAWA. OTTAWA WILL OPEN A TWO GAME SERIES AT LACKAWANNA COUNTY STADIUM ON TUESDAY NIGHT AT 7:05
