PENGUINS FINALLY END LOSING STREAK

THE WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON PENGUINS ENDED THEIR SEVEN GAME LOSING STREAK IN DRAMATIC FASHION FRIDAY NIGHT, SCORING TWICE IN THE FINAL THREE MINUTES AND FORTY SIX SECONDS TO BEAT THE HERSHEY BEARS, 3-2. FIRST PERIOD, BEARS GET THE JUMP, ON THE POWER PLAY, MAREK SVATOS` SHOT IS BLOCKED BY MARC ANDRE FLEURY, BUT ON THE REBOUND, MATTHIEU DARCHE FINDS THE PUCK AND MANAGES TO BOUNCE IT PAST FLEURY, 1-0, HERSHEY. LATER IN THE FIRST, THE PENGUINS LOST KOCI FOR THE NIGHT, A CLEAN CHECK BY DENNIS BONVIE SENT HIM INTO THE BOARDS, KOCI WENT OFF THE ICE, TRIED TO COME BACK, BUT COULDN`T, NO WORD ON HOW BAD HIS INJURY IS. PENGUINS WOULD TIE IT BY THE END OF THE FIRST, POWER PLAY OF THEIR OWN, KRIS BEECH BEHIND THE NET, TO RAMZI ABID, HE BEATS PETER BUDAJ, THAT MADE IT A ONE TO ONE CONTEST AFTER ONE PERIOD OF PLAY. IN THE SECOND, HERSHEY REGAINS THE LEAD, JUST A SPLIT SECOND AFTER THE POWER PLAY ENDS, DARCHE WOULD GET HIS SECOND OF THE NIGHT, FIRING IT PAST FLEURY, IT WAS 2-1. IT STAYED THAT WAY UNTIL THERE WAS JUST THREE MINUTES AND 46 SECOND LEFT IN THE GAME, MICHELLE OULETTE FEEDS FEEDS TOMAS SUROVY ON THE BREAK OUT, HE WILL SKATE IN AND BEAT PETER BUDAJ, TYING THE GAME AT TWO. THE PENGUINS PLAY AT BINGHAMTON ON SATURDAY, THEN ARE IN HERSHEY ON SUNDAY.
