STATE HIGH SCHOOL SWIMMING AND DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS RESUMED THURSDAY IN LEWISBURG THE REGION GOT TWO STATE CHAMPS THURSDAY, CAROLINE BYRON OF BISHOP HOBAN WON THE 100 FREESTYLE, LINDSEY GUERS OF BLUE MOUNTAIN WAS SECOND. ALARIC EBY OF DALLAS WON DOUBLE A BOYS DIVING, WHILE RYANN KISBAUGH OF DANVILLE WAS THE GIRLS DOUBLE A 100 YARD BACKSTROKE STATE CHAMP. OTHER TOP FINISHERS INCLUDED ALYSSA VAVRA OF PANTHER VALLEY, SECOND IN THE 100 BREAST STROKE, AND MARK KAWCZENSKI OF HANOVER IN THE 100 BACK STROKE. THE EVENT CONTINUES THROUGH SATURDAY AT BUCKNELL UNIVERSITY.
