(Thursday, May 25) A 17-year-old girl from forest city has been cited for causing the crash that lead to the huge mess on I-81 Thursday afternoon in Lackawanna County. State police tell us she attempted an illegal lane change on I-81 southbound in Dunmore around 3:30. She then lost control and a dump truck carrying tons of coal sludge was unable to avoid her vehicle. The dump truck, which was driven by 62-year-old David fox of Wilkes-Barre, then rolled over, spilling its load. The crash caused traffic tie-ups in that area for a time. The 17-year-old, four people in her car, and the dump truck driver have non-life threatening injuries.
