Missing Girl Found in Woods

(Tuesday, May 9) The search for a missing mentally challenged girl in Luzerne County is concluded Tuesday night with a happy ending. WYOU News was there as 14-year-old Samantha Dotter was taken out of the woods by rescue workers. The girl went missing Tuesday afternoon after she jumped out the back of a bus window and walked away. Nearly 200 volunteers spent hours in the woods near Hazleton General Hospital looking for the girl. Investigators say she had had a disturbing day at school. She was found just before 9:30 Tuesday night. Police say Dotter was not hurt. But she was taken to the hospital to get checked out.
