(Friday, May 05) An Exeter woman is fighting for her life after police say her husband stabbed her. Friday night police say they found the getaway car, but not the suspect. He is Michael Daiello , a husband and a father of two kids. Police say he stabbed his wife Renee in the abdomen and chest just after the kids left for school. Neighbors on Penn Avenue could hear the woman screaming in pain. "She was yelling help, help somebody help me, and I was afraid to go over cause I didn`t know what was going on," said Anita Fanti. Just after the stabbing, at least two nearby schools went on lockdown, JFK Elementry and West-Side Area Vo-Tech. There was no specific threat that Daiello would come for his children in class, but police took every precaution. Meanwhile, their mother was taken to CMC where she is in critical condition. Daillo`s Pontiac Grand Am was found only a few streets away from the crime scene.
