(Thursday, May 4) The Polk Township boy accused of setting the fire that killed his 11 year old cousin back in December will no longer stand trial as an adult. Thursday, Monroe County Judge Jon Mark handed down the ruling to move the trial of Djinn Buckingham to juvenile court. Buckingham was originally charged as an adult. The situation sparked a major outcry from his family and friends who pressured the system to have him charged as a juvenile. The 13 year old will now be moved to the Berks County Youth center to await his trial.
