Updated: January 7, 2009
(Tuesday, April 25) The teenager accused of killing a police informant back in January had his day in court Tuesday and said he is not guilty of the brutal murder. 16 year old Joshua Bradshaw, who is known on the streets as "Smoke", will got to trial on those charges. He is being charged as an adult, but defense lawyers want the case in juvenile court. Lawyers for the D.A.`s office are confident because of the severity of the crime that Bradshaw will be tried as an adult. Police say Bradshaw stabbed the confidential informant 20 times during a drug deal gone bad.
