Updated: January 7, 2009
(Friday, April 21) A Shickshinny man accused of suffocating his ex-girlfriend in January will head to trial. In court Friday, police testified that George Fink admitted to hiding out in Charlene Dewitt`s Union Township home, then pinning her down and duct taping her wrists. They say he doesn`t remember what happened after that. They also said that when asked, he said he did not kill Dewitt. One of Dewitt`s daughters says Fink was constantly calling and threatening her mother. His aunt believes he may have said things he shouldn`t have, but she doesn`t believe he killed her.
