Vandals Strike at Little League Field

Updated: January 7, 2009
(Friday, April 14) Just about a week away from their first game, some little league players say they`re not going to let vandals spoil their season. The boys of baseball in Wilkes-Barre`s North End can`t figure out why anyone would want to vandalize their concession stand and equipment shed. About a week ago, some inmates from the county jail applied a fresh coat of blue paint to the snack bar, but now it`s covered with graffiti. Parents and the players know they now have to act fast to do some re-painting.
