breaking news
(Thursday, April 13) For the first time, the Kingston woman found stabbed in her home back in January has spoken out publicly.
Just this week, police closed the case, saying they believe 69 year old Gayle Edwards may have stabbed herself, but Edwards isn`t changing her story.
She says a man in his 20`s barged into her Sharpe Street home, robbed her, and stabbed her with an ice pick.
Edwards says she`s still in therapy for post traumatic stress, but tells us she`ll be alright.
But she won`t get over the loss of her dog, Holly, that family members put up for adoption.
She says Holly was adopted by a woman in Dallas.
For now, Edwards is living in a Kingston apartment, one she says is very secure.
