Wild Ride Leads To Arrest Of Teenager In Lackawanna County

(Monday, April 10) A wild ride on an ATV Monday morning ended with a 17 year old boy taken into custody.
The ATV was reported stolen from a home in South Abington Township around 6:30.
Officer Paul Wolf began a search when another resident reported seeing an ATV speeding through the area.
At one point the ATV came head on towards him and he had to move out of the way.
Firemen joined police to search the woods around the area.
Meanwhile, the ATV driver headed down a dirt road into what officers described as a swamp and he ran into trouble.
He was eventually found by a firemen.
Police say the suspect claimed to have injured his neck.
His name will not be released because he is a juvenile.
