Hundreds turned out in the pouring rain today to honor the life of a fallen patriot from Pike County.
With extreme precision, a marine honor guard carried the casket of 21-year-old Lance Corporal Jacob Beisel into Saint Ann`s Church in Shohola Friday morning.
So many people turned out for the service, they had to stand outside the church in the pouring rain.
People at the service say they`ll remember Beisel most for being a Marine through and through.
"It`s a shame, it`s a loss. He was a young man. It was his dream and exactly what he wanted to do," said James Hoadley, a Veteran.
Following Fridays service, Beisel was laid to rest at Saint Mark`s Cemetary in Lackawaxen.
