Funeral Arrangements Made For Area Soldier Killed In Iraq

(Tuesday, April 4) Funeral arrangements have now been made for the Pike County soldier killed in Iraq last week.
21 year old Lance Corporal Jacob Beisel served in the three-eight weapons corps, first battalion, of the U.S. Marines.
His death sent shockwaves through the tight-knit community of Lackawaxen.
A public viewing will be held for Lance Corporal Beisel on Thursday at Gray Rasmuseen Funeral Home in Berryville, New York.
His funeral mass is Friday at St. Mary`s in Shohola and he will be buried at Lutheran Church Cemetery in Lackawaxen.
