Updated: January 7, 2009
(Thursday, March 30) A Penn State student was one of two Hazleton people shot in the leg Wednesday night at a student housing complex near the city. Cops say 21-year-old Joseph Crossdale of Tobyhanna is the man who pulled the trigger. He is charged with shooting Kistina Collins and Kennedy Caraballo at high acres commons near Penn State`s Hazleton campus. Police say the shooting started after some sort of verbal argument. Investigators caught up with Crossdale after one of the victims got in his car and followed the shooting suspect. That`s when the situation turned scary once again because police say Crossdale got out of his car and started firing even more bullets. Police eventually took him into custody when he tried to drive into the college campus.
