(Friday, March 24) In the dense and desolate woods off of Tunnel Road in Dennison Township, something caught Brian Mock`s attention while on his way to school Thursday morning. So, the Crestwood High School student decided to check it out. Mock says he saw an unresponsive man sitting at the wheel of a ford explorer near the railroad tracks. "Tears started coming to my eyes because I never saw anything like that," said, Brian Mock, who found the body. State police tell us that man, 24-year-old Valdec Lawes from New York City, was murdered. Sources say he died from a gunshot wound. Police are looking for the driver of a forest green Nissan Maxima model between the years of 2000 to 2002 in connection with the case. They are not sure of what state the car is registered in.
