The jury is was sequestered yet again after deliberating for 10 hours Tuesday. Jurors went back to their hotel at about 10pm. Tuesday jury told the judge they are deadlocked on the murder charges, and asked the judge to explain the definitions of first, second, and third degree murder and reasonable doubt. The jury asked for the plea agreement of Pat Russin and his statements to police. A judge denied both, however, they wanted to know if Russin plead guilty to 3rd degree murder. The judge returned, with quote Russin plead guilty to 2 counts of third degree murder. The jury asked if two people could be charged with third degree murder? Judge Peter Paul Olzewski said "yes." Late this afternoon, the jury told the judge "we the jury are deadlocked on one and two" meaning they couldn`t make a decision on the first and second degree murder charge. Selenksis attorney, Demetrius Fannick said "I`m not worried, what are we, 16 hours or so? Things take time; they are doing their job and you could tell they are deliberating actually and we`re just going to have to wait it out." Selenski is charged with shooting to death Frank James and Adieye Keiler at his Kingston Township home, then burning their bodies in the back yard. As Hugo Selenski left the Luzerne County Courthouse. Reporters asked him if he was nervous, His reply: "Not at all." Why not? "Gotta deal with it, that`s all."
