Mother And Son Killed In Fire Laid To Rest

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
It was a solemn day Monday in one Northumberland County community as funeral services were held for a little boy and his mother who both died in a fire. The services for 11 year old Tylor Pfeiffer and his mother Janine were held at the United Lutheran Church in Shamokin Monday. The mother and son and three others were killed last week when an apartment building on West Shamokin Street in Trevorton caught fire. Because of the extent of the damage to the building, the cause of the fire is listed as undetermined.
