breaking news
Over a thousand parents gathered in Williamsport Wednesday night to hear future plans for the catholic schools of Lycoming County.
The upside is no schools will be closed, but the reorganization of the schools will bring bigger classes and higher tuition.
The reorganization is needed since school populations have been on the decline.
As a result, it will be necessary to eliminate some teachers.
In the end, the move will save the schools more than a million dollars over the next three years.
