Robbery at Luzerne County Fire Company

Updated: January 7, 2009
(Sunday, January 22) Someone has stolen life-saving equipment from a Luzerne County fire company. Roughly $4,500 worth of equipment was swiped from the Wyoming Fire Company sometime over the past few days. A heavy-duty rescue saw, two handsaws, even a generator were stolen. Investigators are looking into whether the robbery was an inside job, because whoever stole the items knew how to get into the fire hall. Members of the fire hall will be questioned about the robbery later this week. All of the items were bought with fundraising money.
