Cameras Are Rolling

By: Import User
Updated: January 25, 2007
Newport Township Police have placed undercover surveillance cameras in and around the township building. In recent weeks, people have been dumping things like old tvs, washers and dryers at the building. That will soon end thanks to a state grant obtained by State Lawmaker John Yudichak.. Once the system is triggered...the tape rolls...and is stamped with a time. Cameras will also be placed in other "dumping areas" around the township....those caught on tape could face hefty fines and or jail time.
