Thousands Stolen From Store Owner 4/03/06

Scranton Police are looking for two men who held up a Scranton grocery store owner at gunpoint, and got away with tens of thousands of dollars. Scranton Police say the owner of Trinidad`s Groceries, Cuauhtemuc Uvera, was going to deposit more than $54,000 dollars in the bank around 9 am when he was approached by two men with handguns. Uvera handed over the cash, they took off, and the store owner chased them in a borrowed car. The gunmen escaped, now police are looking for the suspects. Not only did they get away with the cash, but also Uvera`s car, house, and store keys.
