Not Guilty Plea 1/24/06

A Dunmore man accused of smothering his daughter to death pleaded not guilty today. 22-year-old Robert Mincer had a hearing in Lackawanna County`s central court. He is charged with first and third degree murder. Detectives say on November 18th, he held his hand over the mouth of his 16-month-old daughter Caityln. The toddler suffocated. The D.A. is seeking the death penalty. No trial date has been set.
