Track Owner Puts Brakes On Casino 12/05/05

It`s a "no go" for slot machines at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond. WBRE news talked with owner Joe Mattioli who says the decision "not" to build a 300-million dollar casino wasn`t an easy one. The 79-year-old businessman`s family works with him, including his wife, children and grandchildren. He says if the state granted a license, too many outside interests would be in the mix so he`s withdrawn his application.
