Speed Tests Could Help Provide Clues in Crash 11/8/05

Updated: January 25, 2007
Exeter Police were out conducting speed tests today at the site of last week`s cruiser collision. They got a little help from Pittston, West Wyoming and state police with the acceleration tests along Wyoming Avenue and Grant Street. You`ll recall West Pittston Officer Jessica Bartolata and West Wyoming Officer Thomas Farrell crashed their cruisers last Wednesday after responding to a domestic disturbance call in Exeter. Officer Bartolata remains in fair condition at CMC in Scranton. Officer Farrell was treated and released -- but has not yet returned to work. West Wyoming Police were down to one cruiser after the crash, but will rent a vehicle for the time being.
