The weather was a factor in an accident in Carbon County this morning. State police say a woman was driving north on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Kidder Township around 11:15 a.m. when she lost control of her vehicle, slid, and ended up in a wooded area. The woman was not hurt. Troopers say she was traveling too fast for the conditions outside at the time.
