17 Year-Old Charged In Death Of Teen 10/25/05

A teenager is now charged in connection with a Lycoming County crash that killed a Hughesville High School student last month. State Police say an unidentified 17-year-old driver was drunk September 23rd when his car hit another one on route 220 in Picture Rocks, killing 17-year-old Shaun Gearhart. The accused teen faces charges including homicide by vehicle and driving under the influence. Word of the arrest comes after Sunday`s public memorial that honored Gearhart and three other Hughesville High School students. Funeral services were held today for 16 year-old Seth Myers and tomorrow for 17 year-old Derrick Sweeting. A fourth student, Kayla Winder, died in a crash October 13th.
