Luzerne County Man To Be Tried On Murder Charges 9/7/05

A Nanticoke man accused of murdering his friend, will go to trial on the charges. 19 year-old Brandon Obaza, attended his preliminary hearing today. Investigators testified that Obaza told them his friend Stephen Novak asked to be killed. Novak`s body was found underneath a jeep owned by Obaza`s father in a wooded section of Nanticoke last July. The cause of death was multiple trauma to the body. Detectives also say they recovered items of satanic worship from both the Novak and Obaza homes.
