Darlene Vazquez returned to Lyndwood Park in Hanover Township.. She spent several days there last week painting and sprucing up the place.. as part of her community service "Senior Project" at Hanover Area High School. Over the week-end.. vandals left their mark. Darlene Vazquez tells WBRE News "Peeled paint off of the thing over there, underneath the tables, on the garbage can, I think there was some on the slide that was messed up." Vazquez and her sister re-painted what was damaged today.. Hanover township commissoners provided the paint and materials for her senior volunteer project.
