Restaurant Fire 8/5

By: Import User
Updated: January 25, 2007
A passing driver noticed the fire at "Rossi`s Restaurant" on Main and West State Streets in Archbald just after midnight. Flames were shooting through the roof when firefighters arrived. No one was inside when it started. It`s believed an electrical problem started the blaze. The intense heat also damaged nearby phone lines... knocking out telephone service to nine-hundred homes in Archbald and nearby Jessup. Until it`s repaired, you can go to the Archbald or Jessup ambulance buildings to report an emergency.
