No Time in Jail for Former West Pittston Doctor 7/20

78-year-old Dr. Harry Alexanderian arrived in court today to learn he`ll spend two-years on probation with the first six-months under house arrest and electronic monitoring.
The prosecution recommended jail time... while the defense pushed for a lighter sentence, reminding the court about the doctor`s numerous health problems and that he admitted his wrongdoing.
Alexanderian pled guilty back in May to several charges including illegally prescribing powerful prescription drugs and Medicaid fraud.
He already surrendered his medical license and closed his West Pittston clinic.
