Monday night the Old Forge School Board announced that it has taken its last contract offer off the bargaining table.
No further negotiations are scheduled. The strike, by state law, could last ten total days--through June 17th. The impasse has disrupted final exams and left seniors wondering about graduation, which has not been rescheduled.
The main stumbling block for both sides remains health insurance coverage.
