Air quality gets failing grade 4/28/05

The American Lung Association annual report ranks the Wilkes-Barre Scranton area 36th worst in the country in air particle pollution. The lung association says particle pollution can cause serious health problems, especially for those with respiratory problems. The study was conducted from 2001 to 2003. Many Pennsylvania cities receive failing grades when it comes to air pollution, but not for particle pollution.
