Lackawanna County`s minority commissioner is resigning. Democrat Randy Castellani attended what will most likely be his last county commissioners meeting this morning. Several people thanked Castellani for his service, including Majority Commissioner Bob Cordaro, one of the biggest critics of the previous administration... an administration in which Castellani was a part of. "Randy, thank you for your time and your service to this county. No one knows better than the people who are in government and in politics, it is not easy. You often are the end for dagers and swords and all kinds of rumors and innuendoes and headaches." Castellani leves office on May 6th. A temporary democratic replacement will now be appointed by the courts.
