Fire ripped through the Reinhart Furniture store last December, and ever since, daily fines have climbed to $123,000.
Mel Younas owns the property, and says he is willing to give the land to the city instead of paying the fine.
But Mayor Lou Barletta is not interested in the land just yet.
He wants to clean-up the two fire-damaged buildings on each side of Reinhart Furniture, and develop the entire site.
