Updated: January 25, 2007
The Forty Fort man killed by state police after he came at them with a chainsaw was drunk at the time of the incident. A toxicology report on 40-year-old William Henkele`s body shows his blood alcohol level was more than four times the legal limit when he died back in February. The report says he had about 20 drinks to get that drunk. State troopers shot and killed Henkele after he lunged at officers, even shredding clothes on one trooper. It happened outside his home on River Street in Forty Fort.
