Parade for our Troops 3/2/05

By: Import User
Updated: January 25, 2007
Everyone is invited to welcome back the last 43 members of the 109th from Luzerne County who were in Iraq. This is the group who felt a big loss when one of their own, Sergeant Sherwood Baker, was killed in combat. Soldiers and their families, as well as city officials from both Wilkes-Barre and Kingston, are planning for the homecoming. You can line up on the parade route through Public Square and over the Market Street bridge to the armory. If you are planning to attend, be on either Public Square or Market Street by 11:30 Saturday morning.
