By: Import User
Updated: January 25, 2007
Crews were busy today along the "CP Rail Line" in Taylor. The derailment happened around six last night when eight butane tankers jumped the tracks, about a half-mile south of the Davis Street bridge. The derailment damaged 900-feet of rail, which now needs to be replaced. It did not cause any environmental problems. Crews hope to have the rail line in Taylor repaired and open soon. This is the second derailment in that same general area in a week.
