Specter Diagnosed With Cancer 2/16/05

Republican Senator Arlen Specter announced Wednesday he has stage 4 Hodgkin`s Disease. Senator Specter has had persistent fevers and enlarged lymph nodes. A biopsy performed Monday turned up positive for the disease. The 75 year old Specter is expected to undergo chemotherapy for the next 24 to 32 weeks. He says that he will beat the disease.
