A Hazleton Man Tries to Change his Plea 2/2/05

George Roberts, Jr., formerly of freeland, was supposed to be sentenced yesterday for showing another man how to make a pipe-bomb.
That man, Michael Diaz of Hazle Township, allegedly lined his home with three of the bombs which forced a ten-hour evacuation of the area.
However, the judge in the case, said he is not required to accept the change of plea. He rescheduled the sentencing of Roberts until later this month.
