Marilyn Rudolph has been a long-time loved and cherished employee of the Back Mountain Library....
So naturally -- it was a bitter sweet night there on Wednesday.
As this was Marilyn`s last day on the job.
After serving as the children`s librarian for 35 years!
On Wednesday night. many people stopped by to honor her as she begins the next chapter of her life.
Marilyn, who is fondly known as the "Library Lady" talked to us about her long time job.. working with children.
"I do love children, and they are a challenge. They are interesting, they have great imaginations and it`s fun to coax them to them to read, especially the young boys who are very active and don`t have time to read, but it`s wonderful to get them introduced
to a book that they love"
Marilyn says she will go visit children at the library from time to time.
