Wilkes-Barre Shooting- 1/20/05

47-year-old Judith Zbegner is charged with criminal homicide in the death of her boyfriend, Kevin McKeown. Police say Zbegner shot him in the face last night in their apartment on govier street in Wilkes-Barre. The man later died at the hospital. Zbegner allegedly told police her boyfriend was threatening her. As he tried to get in the bedroom Zbegner told police she pulled a gun from under her pillow and shot him. Zbegner was charged early this morning and she`s being held in the Luzerne county prison without bail.
